The MAUTO in Turin, the 35th best museum in the world according to the list drawn up by the New York Times, needed to expand its digital media presence and the visiting experience with cross-media facilities.
We developed a website and an integrated App, managed by the same CMS. The first provides information to visitors on the museum, the collection, the initiatives and exhibitions, while the App details the itinerary with information sheets and curious facts.
Users can download and run the app through the museum Wi-Fi free of charge; when run from other connections, a charge applies. Some app contents are accessible using QRcodes around the museum. The App, pre-installed on 15 iPads made available to users, also acts as a totem.
