Melazeta S.r.l. adopts and promotes international principles for the protection of minors, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), the UNICEF Child Safeguarding guidelines, ILO Conventions No. 138 and No. 182, the GDPR, and Privacy by Design principles (ISO 31700).

Melazeta does not employ minors nor engage suppliers who make use of child labour.
All collaborators and technical partners are required to comply with international standards prohibiting child labour and ensuring safe and dignified working conditions.

Melazeta does not collect or process personal data of minors.
Digital projects intended for a minor audience, developed on behalf of clients, are carried out by rigorously applying child protection principles, content safety, data minimisation, and privacy by design.

Melazeta does not carry out direct activities involving minors, except for regulated initiatives such as school workshops, internships or traineeships activated exclusively through educational institutions and in compliance with applicable laws.

In the development of digital products aimed at minors, Melazeta:

• applies criteria of safety, inclusiveness and age-appropriate content,
• avoids any form of profiling or unnecessary data collection,
• alerts clients to potential design or content risks that may negatively impact minors,
• ensures that digital solutions respect principles of transparency, data protection and the safeguarding of underage users.

When developing and publishing videogames on consoles or digital platforms, Melazeta adheres to PEGI (Pan-European Game Information) standards, ensuring correct content classification, age-appropriate gameplay dynamics, and full compliance with European guidelines for the protection of minors in the videogame sector.

Melazeta is committed to maintaining high ethical and professional standards, contributing to the creation of digital experiences that are safe, responsible and respectful of children's rights.
