Rollinz 2.0

The memorable app from the Esselunga Star Wars Rollins 2.0 campaign: loyalty, games, and social engagement to support promotional initiatives.

The Rollinz 2.0 app (no longer available in stores) is a runner game inspired by the Star Wars galaxy: players immerse themselves in a series of adventures, competing in ever-changing environments thanks to points earned through gameplay or using the code printed on in-store receipts. They can customize their avatar, participate in leaderboards, and engage in social interactions.

When shopping, players receive digipacks: digital bags containing a surprise one of the series' 52 digital characters or 12 game circuits inspired by the saga's most famous planets.

Objective: to further strengthen the short promotion campaign, providing customers with an app that combines gamification mechanics with social dynamics, integrating promotional elements and loyalty benefits for holders of Fìdaty, Esselunga's loyalty card.

Target: youngsters and families.

The app has been featured in the Esselunga store loyalty campaign since Christmas 2017–February 2018, and has received several awards:
