Finance Journey for Kids - FIndomestic
Percorsi Kids is a serious financial education game designed to equip young students with the basics of financial literacy.
Developed by Findomestic and part of the broader "PerCorsi" financial education project, it was designed with the La Fabbrica agency. This tycoon-style management game for children integrates various mechanics for accumulating the points needed to complete the game rounds. The gameplay is made more complex by the inclusion of a third mechanic, representing the bank, which in some cases can facilitate or hinder the path to victory.
Percorsi Kids is an online game with two-dimensional graphics, a Kid Tycoon-style game that integrates an Infinite Run Game and a Quiz Game. The gameplay is made more complex by the inclusion of a third mechanic, representing the bank, which in some cases can facilitate or hinder the path to victory.
As is now well-established and consolidated by research, play is a powerful facilitator of learning content and practicing transversal skills, from the ability to choose and make decisions, to the enhancement of group interaction, to the practice of healthy competition. These effects also apply to video games developed with the help of experts and pedagogues on specific educational content. This is the case with the video game PerCorsi Kids, created specifically for the age group involved in the project: students test themselves on financial and environmental sustainability to achieve a socially beneficial goal: the creation of an eco-friendly Adventure Park.
