The Great Beauty of Europe

The project, developed by Melazeta in partnership with Tatics, capolifa, Eurokom, and Manzoni, involves us in several activities:

• Brand identity and website development
• Web app development with treasure hunt mechanics
• Promotion through Cafè Cohesion in Northern Italy

QRace-sion is the name of the digital web app aimed at promoting points of interest (POIs) representing cultural and tourism sites that have received investments from regional cohesion policies and EU-funded structural projects.

QRace-sion's gamification elements will utilize the motivational levers of gaming and healthy competition to support the POIs, creating visit opportunities and offering a user experience that will allow for deeper understanding of EU-funded projects in an innovative and engaging way.

The heart of the gamification is an authentic digital treasure hunt, during which participants will be challenged to collect as many POIs as possible. These POIs, linked directly to the Opencoesione website, will provide all the information about the supported project.

Finally, QRace-sion is a tool that can be easily used for educational purposes:

Topics are compatible with school subjects and can be integrated into a lesson, a workshop, or a field trip.

Treasure hunts offer two ways to participate: via geolocation or by unlocking dedicated QR codes, which can be provided to the school.

This web app tool was chosen for its compatibility with all devices and because it requires no download.

Registration without sensitive data allows for engaging young people and students.

Timed hunts are customizable and there is a dedicated leaderboard.
